Words to Live By is our mantra, the epitome of our culture, and the foundation of everything we teach. At the heart of everything we think, say, and do are these seven stanzas. Simply, they are our pledge. Soaring isn’t just for kids. The adults who serve as mentors and leaders use our Words to Live By to guide lessons and interactions – a compass to navigate all aspects of life.
Introducing it to staff, students, and families? Hang it anywhere and everywhere! Give kids a copy to take home to hang on their refrigerator or any other common space. Hand it out to staff to help them model the words for students. After you’ve introduced Words to Live By, try a fun cut-out puzzle or fill-in-the-blank game to play. Or get your group together and have fun reciting the Words in different ways.
